At U-Self Storage, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to make cancellations simple and transparent, while ensuring fairness for all our customers.

1. Cancelling a Reservation (Before Move-In)

  • If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before your scheduled move-in date, you will receive a full refund of any prepaid rental or deposit.
  • If you cancel within 48 hours of your move-in date, a small administration fee may apply.
  • All cancellations must be made via email, phone, or in person at our facility.

2. Cancelling During Your Rental Period

  • You may end your rental agreement at any time by providing a written notice at least 7 days in advance.
  • Rental fees are calculated on a monthly basis and are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
  • Any deposit (if applicable) will be refunded after you have fully vacated the unit and left it clean and undamaged.

3. Refunds

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days after approval.
  • Refunds are issued through the same payment method used at the time of booking.
  • We do not offer refunds for unused days in a partially used billing cycle.

4. No-Show Policy

If you reserve a unit but do not arrive or cancel within the scheduled time frame, your reservation may be released, and any deposit or advance payment may be forfeited.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

  • Non-payment of dues
  • Violation of storage terms (see our Terms & Conditions)
  • Storage of prohibited or illegal items
  • Misuse or damage to the facility
